Real Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2  eggs
<br>- ¾ cup corn syrup
<br>- ¾ cup white sugar
<br>- 1 ½ cups pecan halves
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

<br>step 1: In a large mixing bowl, slightly beat the eggs.
<br>step 2: Stir in corn syrup, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well.
<br>step 3: Lightly stir in pecans, till well-coated with egg mixture.
<br>step 4: Pour into pie shell.  Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes.  Turn the oven down to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C), and bake for another 30 minutes.
<br>step 5: Cool before serving.   Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
