Santa's Whiskers II Recipe
- 2 egg whites
- ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup white sugar
- ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
step 1: Beat egg whites to a froth with cream of tartar and salt. Gradually add sugar.
step 2: Beat at medium speed for 10 minutes. Beat in vanilla. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
step 3: Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Place in an oven preheated to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). TURN OFF heat as soon as you put the cookies in. Leave in closed oven overnight.
