Savory Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1/4 cup flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
<br>- 1 teaspoon Savory Marketâ„¢ Roast Beef Enhancer
<br>- 4 pounds boneless beef roast, chuck
<br>- 3 tablespoons oil
<br>- 2 large onions, chopped
<br>- 3 carrots, scraped and sliced
<br>- 1 (10.75 ounce) can pureed tomatoes
<br>- 1 cup beef broth
<br>- pinch dried thyme
<br>- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
<br>- 1 1/2 cups liquid red wine

<br>step 1: Season the flour with the salt and pepper and pound the mixture into the meat with the edge of a plate. Brown the meat on all sides in the hot oil. Add the onions, cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Add the carrots, tomato, herbs, Savory Market Roast Beef Enhancer and liquid. Cover tightly and simmer 3 1/2 - 5 hours, until meat is fork tender.
