Sour Cream Raisin Pie III Recipe
- 1 prepared 8 inch pastry shell
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup raisins
step 1: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
step 2: In a large bowl, beat eggs lightly. Stir in sugar, salt, and spices. Stir in sour cream and raisins. Pour filling into pastry shell.
step 3: Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out dry. Serve warm.
