Sugar Nut Bars Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- ½ cup butter
<br>- 2 cups packed brown sugar
<br>- 2 cups cake flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking powder
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
<br>- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar for dusting

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Grease one 9x13 inch baking dish.
<br>step 2: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and blend together with the brown sugar. Remove from heat; set aside to cool.
<br>step 3: Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla and chopped nuts.
<br>step 4: Pour into prepared pan and bake at 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Cut into bars and roll in confectioners' sugar.
