Surprise Meringues Recipe
- 2 egg whites
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon cream of tartar
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
step 1: Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
step 2: Beat egg whites, salt, cream of tartar, sugar and vanilla until the meringue is stiff.
step 3: Fold in the chocolate chips.
step 4: Place 1 teaspoonful of meringue on the lined cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 25 minutes.
