Surprise Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 pound lean ground beef
<br>- salt and pepper to taste
<br>- 1/2 onion
<br>- 1 green bell pepper
<br>- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
<br>- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
<br>- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
<br>- 20 cherry tomatoes
<br>- 1 (12 ounce) package linguine pasta
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add linguine pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
<br>step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until almost cooked; about 10 minutes.  Season lightly with salt and pepper.
<br>step 3: Using a food processor, chop the onion finely.  Wash it out and then put in the bell pepper.  It should turn to liquid.  That's the surprise!
<br>step 4: Add tomato paste, garlic, onions, oregano, and bell pepper juice to the browned beef.  Allow it to settle a little bit, folding it all together.  Add the tomatoes and cover; simmer for another 15 minutes.   With a fork or spatula crush the tomatoes and blend the juice into the sauce; continue simmering for about 10 more minutes.  Serve over cooked pasta.
