Sweet Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 4 tablespoons white sugar
<br>- ¼ teaspoon salt
<br>- ¼ cup butter
<br>- 1  egg
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 4  eggs, beaten
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 ½ (15 ounce) containers ricotta cheese
<br>- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 cup white sugar
<br>- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: For Crust:  In a large bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups flour, 4 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt.  Cut in butter, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.  Mix until dough forms.  Roll into 9 inch crust.  Place dough in greased pie plate.  Chill for 1 hour.
<br>step 2: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
<br>step 3: In a large bowl, beat 4 eggs.  Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 1/2 pounds ricotta cheese, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 cup white sugar and 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar. Beat until smooth.
<br>step 4: Pour into crust and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until lightly browned and firm.
