Toll House Walnut Pie Recipe
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
step 2: In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Beat in white sugar and brown sugar until ingredients are thoroughly combined, then add flour. Stir well. Blend in melted butter.
step 3: Stir chocolate chips and walnuts into mixture. Pour mixture into pie shell.
step 4: Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
