Yam-Apple Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 pound yams, peeled and sliced
<br>- 2 large apples, cored and chopped
<br>- 2/3 cup Apple Flavor LIBBY'S® JUICY JUICE® 100% Juice
<br>- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
<br>- 3 tablespoons water
<br>- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- 1/3 cup wheat germ

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish. Alternately layer yams and apples in casserole dish; set aside.
<br>step 2: In a saucepan, heat apple juice. Mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl or cup. When juice is boiling, stir in cornstarch mixture; cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in sugar and cinnamon.
<br>step 3: Spoon sauce over yam/apple mixture. Sprinkle wheat germ on top. Bake until the apples are tender, 25 to 30 minutes.
